Welcome Carrillo Parents

Carrillo Elementary opened in August, 1999 and has grown from 243 to our current enrollment of 916 students. We are part of the San Marcos Unified School District, although we are located in Carlsbad.  2009-2010 marks the beginning of our eleventh year.

We offer numerous programs in addition to core curricular subjects defined by the state and district.  Our test scores are consistently strong, yet we maintain high regard for the social, emotional and developmental needs of all our students.

Although our school has grown rapidly, we have maintained a solid sense of community, and visitors often remark that our school is like a family. We hope you also have that reaction when you come to visit.
