Last Day of School - June 7th - Early Dismissal

All Kindergarteners attend a.m. session and dismiss at 11:50. Grades 1-5 dismiss at 12:55pm. Have a safe and fun-filled summer! The first day of school for the new school year 2013-14 will be August 19, 2013. Enjoy your summer!

Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast - May 24th @ 8:45

If you helped out LCM in any capacity this year, please join us in the cafeteria with a volunteer appreciation breakfast to celebrate a job well done. Room parents, art docents, classroom volunteers, carnival helpers, running club stick collectors, etc. are all welcome and encouraged to attend. Please join us at 8:45 in the cafeteria on May 24th!

Last Day of School - DINE OUT Party

On June 7th, Palomar Pizza will host our final Dine Out of the year. Celebrate the last day of school with a family meal of pizza, pasta, salads or subs. Just mention LCM when ordering all day from 10:00am-9:30pm. LCM will benefit on all dine-in, take out or delivery orders! Enjoy a Parents Night Out on Saturday, June 8th

AK Martial Arts in Bressi Ranch is hosting a Nerf Dart Tag party for kids ages 5 and up from 5:00-9:00pm on June 8th. The parents can enjoy a date night while the kids have fun playing dart tag and a pizza dinner. Please click on the title for details to register.

Used Book Sale - May 30-31

We are looking for gently used books for all ages to be sold at our 50 cent Book Sale on May 30th-31st. The Book Sale will run from 8:45am-3:10pm that Thursday and Friday. This is a great time to grab some good books for summer reading! All proceeds benefit the LCM library. Thanks for your support!

5th Annual Girls Summer Lacrosse Camp

Picnic in the Park - May 31st from 6 - 8 pm

The countdown to summer has begun and it’s time for the LCM annual PICNIC IN THE PARK on the lower field. Join your La Costa Meadows friends and families on Friday night, May 31st from 6-8 p.m. to celebrate the end of another great school year and the start of summer! Bring your picnic dinner, blankets, low back chairs and your dance moves because we will have a DJ playing music for everyone to enjoy. Food will be available for purchase (while supplies last) from Rudy's Taco Shop and Mrs. Frostie for some sweet treats! See you there!

Welcome Wave Writers!

LCM is pleased to introduce a new program called "Wave Writers". Wave Writers is an LCM author website that is published monthly. It features student's writings, illustration and poetry. Students must submit their work to Mrs. Schneider the first of every month. Our May submissions have been posted and we look forward to our Wave Writers next year! Class Placements for 2013-14

Please click here for important information regarding the process we take ensuring children are placed in classes that truly allow them to shine. Additionally, if you would like to write a letter describing the learning environment (not the teacher) you feel your child thrives in, please make sure letters are received in the office no later than Friday, May 24th.
