Hello Carrillo Families,

This is a busy week at Carrillo so here's the line up of highlights

1. Tomorrow is our last day of STAR testing for grades 2-5. Thank you everyone for your
cooperation and support. Congratulations to our kids who worked so hard and did their best.

2. This Wednesday, May 16th is the district Track Meet for west side elementary schools. The Track Meet will begin at 4:00pm at Mission Hills High School. Come join the fun and cheer for our fabulous Carrillo athletes.

4. There will not be a FLAG salute for grades 1-5 on Friday due to school assemblies however there will be Kindergarten FLAG salutes at the ususal times.

3. This Friday will be our last Friday with the Ranch and back gate closed after school so we
have one more Friday to dismiss everyone in front of school at 3:10pm.

4. Next week our paper drive begins for Luau Lunch which will be held on Friday, May 25th.
More information will come home in a flyer this week for children interested in attending the Luau Lunch.

5. As you know we're running a Colt Casino Night on June 2nd. All proceeds will fund
technology in all Carrillo classrooms. We've already sold about 45 tickets and only 200 are
available, so hurry in to pick up a flyer in the front office or you can purchase your ticket on line on our website.

Also..........if your child's classroom is creating a theme basket, a letter went home from your child's teacher. This is a friendly reminder that all classroom basket donations are due this Friday at the latest.

6. Lastly, Strawberry sales on Wednesdays and Jamba Juice sales on Fridays will continue.
