Dependable Program News

As you are well aware, we are striving to go paperless at Carrillo.  This year we are adding the Dependables (as much as we can) to our paperless pursuit.  In order to streamline the Dependable program and to better format it for the website, we are providing the Dependables in 3 “sets”. 

The 1st set you should receive on either the first day of school or at your child(ren)'s Back to School Night.  It includes:

D- Welcome back letter from your child(ren)'s teacher

E- Emergency Card for you to fill out and return to your child(ren)’s teacher.

The 2nd set includes the following items:

P- PE Letter

E- Office Letter

N- Attendance/Tardy Letter

D- Bully Letter

A- Emergency/Disaster Letter

You will need to review all of the documents with your child(ren) and then sign off that you both have read and understand them all.  The signature page will be located at the end of the Disaster Letter.  Your child(ren)'s teacher will receive notification that you have completed the signature page and will then check off those Dependables for your child(ren). THIS PACKET WAS DUE BY 9/18, it is no longer available.

The 3rd set will be available May 1, 2012 and will include the following items:

B-   Are You Returning Next Year Letter

E- Pool Permission Slip will be given out by your child(ren)’s teacher, if your child(ren) has turned in and completed all of the prior Dependables and has NOT been tardy more than 5 times during the school year.
