 Welcome Carrillo students, teachers, family, and friends to our February Edition of the Carrillo Authors website! This is so exciting! What we learned about you students while typing in these stories and poems, is you are a group of intelligent, funny, and very imaginitive children. You are a group of kids who believe in “happily ever after” and “super heroes” and the beauty of nature, animals, and simple joys. We hope you remain that way, always! Enjoy reading through these categories. We have some humorous and touching poetry; some shared memories and imagined stories in the personal narratives section; some wildly conceived short stories; and even some fun comics! Carrillo Authors, as you read through your own work online, I hope that you feel tremendously proud of yourselves. We certainly are proud of you, not only for writing your poem, short story, narrative, or comic, but for taking the initiative to submit your work for the website. Now share your writing! Show your family! Show your friends! Show your grandparents! Show your pet turtle! Send a link to your Aunt Betsy in Tennessee! This is a big deal! And please, do this again!
