One of the things the Running Club likes to take care of before the end of the year is the t-shirts that are awarded to the kids each time they run 100 miles. At a total cost of approximately $1,600, this is by far the largest expense for the Running Club. We were able to secure sponsors to cover the costs for the current year's shirts, and we're hoping to do the same for next year's. If you, your company, your employer, or someone else you know would like to be t-shirt sponsor, we would be so grateful! We will take donations in any amount...$100, $200, up to the full amount! And we will gladly put your logo or name on the back of each shirt (approximately 180-200 shirts), as well as on our web page. Thank you for your continued support of the Carrillo Running Club! Whether as a volunteer, a financial supporter, or the parent of an avid runner, past or present, we are so grateful to all of you for contributing to the success of the running program at Carrillo! Please contact Jennifer Black jenandrichblack@yahoo.com and/or Christine Lord chrismlord@gmail.com for more information.

The park is open Tues. - Friday, and it is only a two minute walk for kids to get to the parking lot via our back gate. It will definitely be a good alternative to our parking lot. And on Mondays, you can still pick up by the community pool, just outside the Leo Carrillo Park main gate. Save time, save energy, give it a try!
